Tech Talk Description:
Risk to your healthcare organization from technology may extend beyond what your traditional IT or Information Security groups may be tasked with managing. Your vendors and suppliers, as well as a growing number of networked “smart” medical devices, industrial control systems (ICS), and operational technologies (OT) all add security challenges to your environment. Please join our panel for their in-depth discussion as well as an opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the discussion on these high-visibility areas of risk.
Learning Objectives:
Following this discussion, participants will be able to:
- Establish a baseline of how your organization’s vendors, the supply chain, as well as medical devices, ICS (Industrial Control Systems), and OT (Operational Technologies) all add risk to your networked computing environment.
- Using the recent Log4j series of vulnerabilities as a real-world example, discuss what your organization can or should have already done to address this widespread set of vulnerabilities Additionally, discuss how these fundamental techniques and strategies could be incorporated to address a wide spectrum of current and emerging risks to your organization.
