Webinar Description:
Over the last 5 years, value-based care (VBC) reimbursement models with one-sided and two-sided risk arrangements have increased by 40%. This significant growth introduces risk to an organization (both plan and provider) - as providers become more responsible for traditional insurance-focused capabilities, and as payers validate millions of dollars in settlements each year. The session will cover the fundamentals of what value-based care is, how it has evolved over time, what makes a successful partnership, and what common areas of risk health plans and providers encounter on their path to value. It will also cover tools and mitigation strategies to identify and solve for areas of risk within an organization delivering on VBC.
