Session Description:
It’s often stated that it’s a matter of “when rather than if” a situation will arise at an organization that will necessitate the initiation of operational business continuity. This panel will discuss business continuity and contingency planning from an organizational perspective, with IT/IS playing a critical supporting role. The panel is also looking forward to interacting with the members of the AHIA community as we all share our collective experiences to better prepare ourselves for the “when” a business continuity situation arises. We invite you to submit comments, questions, and suggested areas of discussion both ahead of and during this Tech Talk session to hlundgren@kellencompany.com. We hope that you will be able to join us.
Learning Objectives:
Following this discussion, participants will be able to:
- Describe business continuity, contingency planning, and disaster recovery through provided examples.
