The purpose of this Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance Panel is to discuss Artificial Intelligence Risks with a focus on the Healthcare Industry. The adoption of AI by Healthcare Systems has the potential to transform the industry but there are many risks that must be understood and managed to achieve the expected results. Being too slow or too fast to leverage AI is a risk to healthcare systems. AI governance must consider data privacy, algorithmic bias, and accountability concerns. Effective AI Governance Structures, risk management strategies and ethical guidelines are required to ensure accountability and Trust. Finally, AI Governance must include appropriate representation from stakeholders across the organization.
