Webinar: Epic’s SlicerDicer: Analytics for the Non-IT Auditor

Speaker

 B. Jill Baron, MBA, CHIAP, Audit Manager, University of Miami Health System
Jill Baron is an experienced Audit Manager at the University of Miami with over 20 years in healthcare auditing, specializing in advancing compliance, operational efficiency, and financial integrity within the healthcare sector.

Her expertise includes a wide range of audits across key operational and compliance areas, including revenue-related audits such as cash collections, charge capture (e.g., pharmacy, cardiac cath lab). She has also conducted audits focused on compliance with regulations including medical device recalls and credits, opioid management, telehealth, and PRF Cares Act compliance.

Jill understands the unique challenges faced by healthcare auditors, especially those with deep operational knowledge but limited access to direct system data. She values tools like Epic’s SlicerDicer to assist in turning operational knowledge into actionable health system recommendations.
